As CEO of DG&A, Gomez serves his clients by navigating our rapidly changing economy to locate the best senior talent. He was recently applauded by the Executive Search community for spearheading an inclusive methodology that has been recognized as best in class. His skill in diversity consulting has earned him a consistent and prominent presence in the pages of national media and trade publications, including the Wall Street Journal as well as Latino Leaders and Dinero magazines. Gomez’s professional contributions have brought him numerous accolades, including Minorities in Business magazine’s “Entrepreneurial Spirit Award” and Hispanic Business magazine’s “Corporate Elite.” Gomez is a sought-after speaker who brings his entrepreneurial and industry insights to audiences such as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the National Black MBA Association.
Driven by his passion for placement, these success stories have earned Gomez the status of a high-profile leader within his field. He serves on the Executive Committee of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was charged with the responsibility of locating their new CEO. Since he joined the board of the USHCC, the organization has celebrated five years of unprecedented growth. He helped to develop the New America Alliance (NAA), an organization of Latino business leaders, and co-founded the United Community Bank of Lisle, which has grown into a $400 million organization since its inception in 2002.
David takes immense pride in his work and his family. Married for forty one years with six children and seventeen grandchildren, he serves as a pillar in the Chicagoland area. He has attended Harvard, the University of Southern California, and the University of Chicago business schools to enhance his industry expertise. His passion for cultivating talent extends to his personal life, as he takes the time to encourage young people with his message of personal success. During his tenure as a member of the Illinois State Board of Education, he worked diligently to inspire children and teens. Gomez currently volunteers as a motivational speaker for students ranging from the elementary to the collegiate level, earning him St. Augustine College’s “El Puente Award” for distinguished service to the community.
